Our story is, and always will be, about Jesus.
God called Tawni to Thailand during a mountain top experience... literally. At the end of her training in the All Peoples Church School of Transformation, she served with an Antioch Ministries International team that was planting a bi-lingual church in Chiang Mai, even baptizing some of the new believers herself. During a prayer retreat, the team ascended to the famous Doi Suthep viewpoint, where they prayed over the city of Chiang Mai. "Will you give your life for my people here?" is what Tawni felt the Lord speaking to her heart. |

Meanwhile, Mike was sent to Mongolia to help develop a youth group. Our pastor, Robert Herber, told us that if the we were able survive two months in Asia, then the church would be ready to send us out as long-term missionaries. The year before, Mike had discovered how receptive people could be to the simple Gospel during his training school's outreach to Peru. The trip to Mongolia was met with many more difficulties, but several people came to Christ, and during one outreach a young grabbed Mike by the shoulder and pleaded with him to teach him about Christ.

Mike went to Thailand to see the work Tawni was a part of, and there they first discussed the possibility of moving there long-term. We returned home, got married and raised support so we could move to Chiang Mai. We went in May of 2013, and since then we have been learning, preaching, and church-planting. Our best role is to build volunteer teams by motivating and training new believers.
